Chonelle

Chonelle identified that her pattern starts with 5 stickers, then each consecutive shape adds 4 more.  She calculated the number of stickers by multiplying 11 groups by 4 and then adding the last group of 5 to get 49 stickers.  When creating her sticker pattern Chonelle really pushed herself to come up with a unique pattern that was different to her peers.

Chonelle completed this activity easily.  She was able to tessellate her fox shape correctly and colour her pattern effectively.  Her symmetrical design shows her skills.  Congratulations Chonelle.  Great geometrical work.

Jessica and Chonelle made this dog safety power-point together.  They researched their topic and worked well together to present their research to the class.  They are becoming better at speaking in front of an audience.  Well done girls...

Jessica and Chonelle worked extremely hard on their geometrical city.  As you can see they put alot of effort into their creation.  They firstly designed a 2D model and then went on to create this 3D model.  They were able to include and make all the required shapes and designs that they needed to, in order to complete the activity.  The worked well together, which is an important skill!  Well done girls, your work looks terrific.

5/7/16  Speech:  Here is Chonelle's speech about Yellow eyed penguins.
